The banquet site, ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Kyoto, is not so far from the conference venue; it takes about 15 minutes on foot. Refer to the local map below.

Transportation Guide

The Suzaku Campus of Ritsumeikan Univ. (conference venue) is very close to JR Nijo Station. Please do not confuse with other Ritsumeikan campuses. See the access map available here. Please come by public transportation. There is no parking for cars and bicycles in the conference site.

The convenient means of transportation to Nijo from abroad are also shown in the diagram below.

From Narita International airport, take a flight to Kansai International Airport (KIX).

From KIX, take the JR express train "HARUKA" to JR Kyoto Station, which is its final destination. At JR Kyoto Station, change trains and get on a JR local train to Nijo via San'in main line. It takes about 80 minutes from KIX to Nijo excluding the time for transfer. It costs about 3,600 yen one way, per person. The JR express train "HARUKA" departs approximately once every 60 minutes. Should there be any inquiries regarding access to Nijo, please ask at the Information Desk at the airport on the first floor in front of the arrivals area.

If you take a flight to Osaka International Airport via Narita International Airport, please board on a limousine bus to JR Kyoto Station. The bus fare is 1,280 yen one way, per person.
